Currently living in Iwerne Minster, Dorset, Kim has spent much of his life painting. Although living in a family of artists, his influences were largely those found in self teach books. This led to an interest in the sea, and watercolours.
A short career in the Royal Navy, a much longer career as a teacher until finally, recognising that art was the real ambition, became a full time painter.
Now painting landscapes, architecture, people and the sea, he regularly sells his work in galleries in the South West. Commissions are welcome (recently painted a ceiling in the “steam punk” style for clients in Gillingham!)
